We are equally comfortable negotiating as litigating and we will assist you in accessing mediation services where appropriate for your situation. We are experienced in both negotiating and litigating.

 

We can apply for legal aid to assist you in meeting the costs of advice or representation. You can find out in advance if you are eligible for legal aid by checking the SLAB website http://www.slab.org.uk/  If you are not eligible for legal aid, we offer a competitive rate.  We pride ourselves in keeping the cost to you down through our efficient and solution-focused approach.

 

We also offer certain services on a fixed fee basis, please ask for individual quotes dependant on your needs.

 

Here are a few examples of fixed fee services we offer:-

• Powers of Attorney - £400 plus VAT  or £600 plus VAT for 2 people (including home visits within the Edinburgh area)

• Undefended divorce - £900 plus VAT plus outlays and a one-hour consultation.

• 1 hour initial consultation - £250 plus VAT

'Pay as you go'– Do you want to negotiate your separation/care arrangements for your children yourself without unnecessary paperwork from your solicitor while retaining the option to take advice if and when you need it? We offer a unique service for those who wish to keep control of their own case but want to take advice along the way to keep them on the right track without additional paperwork. For this service we offer a reduced hourly rate of £200 per hour plus VAT, payable before each consultation.
